SUPERHERO HOUSE 2018 WINNERS
1st PRIZE
Divyalakshmi .B, Ahmed Nihamathullah, Aishwarya .K
MEASI Academy of Architecture & AMS Academy of Architecture, Chennai
This project was a sheer delight! The Superhero was imaginative and we loved the idea that she could be ‘formless’ while resting or may take a human form. This approach must have given a great liberty to the design and a lot of freedom from the basic conventions followed. The design approach also shows interesting and active thought process with a good involvement of mind instead of digital softwares.
2nd PRIZE
Anushka Patel
Faculty of Architecture, AKTU, Lucknow
We loved your attention to detail to create the spaces for the design. The whole design seemed to come from letting the mind free to create an overall form and design and then detailing each part by giving it good thought. The dynamic and yet soothing character of the design was a plus-point. Once again, it was a relief to see a project with a completely human approach and very little use of softwares, without letting them override the design.
3rd PRIZE
Pavan Kumar Sai
School of Planning and Architecture ,Vijayawada
This project was quite imaginative and exciting. The idea of using lenses to throw images and illusions would create a surreal and dream-like atmosphere without using any major scientific mumbo-jumbo. The simple approach and the use Optics to create something that would look quite complicated was interesting to observe.
